Why us

Expert testimony is only as good as the expert's ability to withstand challenge. Our principals hold registered professional forester credentials, federal incident command qualifications, and advanced graduate training in fire science and forest policy — and they have the operational history to explain, credibly, what happens on a fireline.

Common questions

Frequently asked

How quickly can you be retained?

Usually within a few days. Call the number below and you will reach a principal, not an intake queue.

Do you work for plaintiffs or defence?

Both, and for insurers and public agencies. What we will not do is shape a finding to fit a desired conclusion.

What geographic areas do you cover?

The United States, with principals based in the Black Hills, southwest Colorado, and the Texas Panhandle, plus tropical and subtropical coverage in California and Florida.

Can you assess damage to palm and tropical species?

Yes — this is a recognised specialty of the firm and one most wildfire consultancies do not cover.
